(I) Report on Advances in Forestry
The Report on Advances in Forestry is the concentrated reflection of the research progress and achievement of forestry development in recent years. The development trend of forestry was analyzed in the report, and the development goals, strategic needs and key fields were put forward. The formed comprehensive report and special report have important guiding significance for the forestry development in China.
(II) Excellent Academic Report on Forestry in China
In order to display the latest achievements in forestry science and technology, exchange cutting-edge views, improve the level of forestry science and technology, further promote the popularization of forestry science knowledge, and promote the better and faster development of forestry, the Chinese Society of Forestry launched a nationwide solicitation for annual excellent academic reports in 2014.
Up to now, Excellent Academic Report on Forestry in China 2015 and Excellent Academic Report on Forestry in China 2016 have been officially published; the final draft of Excellent Academic Report on Forestry in China 2017-2018 is ready for printing and publication; the solicitation of the Excellent Academic Report on Forestry in China 2019 has been launched.
(III) Chinese Terms in Forest Science
In 1989, the China National Committee for Terms in Natural Science (now renamed the China National Committee for Terms in Sciences and Technologies) published Chinese Terms in Forest Science (2219 articles), which standardized forestry terms, promoted the academic exchange of forestry at home and abroad, and played an active role in the research, teaching, production and management of forestry in China.
On December 23, 2006, entrusted by CNCTST, Chinese Society of Forestry established the Second Forestry Terms Committee and started the preparation and examination of the new edition of Chinese Terms in Forest Science. Chinese Terms in Forest Science (second edition) was officially published in May 2016, with a total of 5047 articles.
